Colour Belt Gradings
These are held every 3 months for Tae Kwon Do students but only if they know their syllabus and are ready to grade. This will be determined by the instructor. Gradings are examined by an external examiner which is one of the TAGB World Masters, 8th Degree Black Belt or above.

Coloured Belt Gradings are £30.00

Black Belt Grading

The next upcoming Grading TBA

All 1st Kups (Black Stripes) and Black Belts who are hoping to Grade MUST complete the following, before the first Black Belt Pre grading training session:

  • Provide 5 passport size photos
  • Complete a short 500 word Essay titled – “Why I Want To Be A Black Belt”
  • Paid the Grading Fee to your Instructor
  • You MUST attend the 3 Black Belt Pre Grading Training sessions (If you cannot attend one particular session for some reason, you can attend a session in a different area, please speak to your instructor for details)

We recommend you start practicing your theory ASAP, 5-10 mins a couple of times a week is plenty, but trying to Cram all of your theory into the last week will not be helpful, it will make you or your child stressful and not allow them to perform their best Tae Kwon Do on the day.

You can fail your Black Belt grading. It is up to you to apply yourself to your training in the run up to the Grading, if you don’t feel ready, that’s fine, you can always give yourself more time by waiting until the following Black Belt grading.
