Sefton Taekwondo is owned and ran by Mr Warren Vice under the guidance and regulations of the TAGB (Taekwondo association of Great Britain). Sefton Taekwondo operate multiple clubs around the Sefton (North West). Our website address is: https://seftontaekwondo.com.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Our WordPress based site does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. When you make a class booking through the site we will collect your name, email and telephone number so we can contact you with any relevant class changes, email a confirmation/cancellations of your booking and also to allow you ease of use when rebooking. The information you have provided such as name and contact details will be registered along side any classes you have attended and be retained for use in the Covid 19 government track and trace programme. Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
The contact form plugin we use is Contactform7
With the default configuration, this plugin, in itself, does not:
- track users by stealth;
- write any user personal data to the database;
- send any data to external servers;

If you activate certain features in this plugin, the contact form submitter’s personal data, including their IP address, may be sent to the service provider. Thus, confirming the provider’s privacy policy is recommended. These features include:

Vimeo

This privacy policy sets out how we use and protect any information that you give to us when you become a member of the TAGB.

– Sharing personal details with the British Taekwondo Council (The United Kingdom National Governing Body for Tae kwon-do) for membership and insurance purposes only.The TAGB will retain your personal information on our membership database for the duration of your membership, and for a period of 12 months after your membership has expired. We take your privacy seriously and all such information is held on secure servers.
